Who am I?

That is the main question. It doesn't have an easy answer, though.

I am a retired engineer. I wasn't familiar with the IT industry until a few years ago. I mean, I knew how to use my cell phone and all, but I was unable to install a new app or tweak its settings.

My kids were always making fun of me because of that. They thought that they're so much smarter than their old dad. That's the price you have to pay for having kids later in life, I guess. Anyway, I figured out that even though I may have fewer fully functional brain cells (though I'm not so sure about that either), I've got much more free time at my disposal.

I have decided to use the web (mostly YouTube) and learn as many IT technologies as I could, mostly to prove to them (and myself) that even an old dad can learn some powerful new tricks. I have designed this website from scratch, using html, css and javascript, for example. I know that it may not mean that much to a pro developer, but it means a lot to me!

So, this is who I am today: a retired person, but one that can easily give his kids a run for their IT money.

P.S. That is not my real size! I'm just 6-feet tall man who also went through a few dozens of Photoshop tutorials ;)

Two powerful quotes that have changed my life

"Destiny is not a matter of chance; it is a matter of choice. It is not a thing to be waited for, it is a thing to be achieved."
